The Hope Association Charity Shop 79. Address 19 Rue De la Moinauderie, Lezay 79120.

The Hope Association Charity Shop is run by a group of volunteers with the sole aim of raising funds for abused and abandoned animals in need.

The shop is open every Tuesday and the last Saturday of every month, doors open at 10.00 til 17.00h.

The shop is a veritable Aladdin’s Cave with so much to offer. Thousands of books all priced at 1€, CDs, DVDs, pre-loved clothes, jewellery, hand made greetings cards and much, much more.

Please come along, support Hope. Have a rummage then sit and enjoy tea/coffee and cake.

We cannot accept videos or cassette tapes and no one buys pre-loved underwear.

Hope Book Sale – 13/14/15th May 2016

You can never be too early planning your book buying and your social calendar.

Hope Book Sale at the Salle des Fetes, Clussais-La Pommeraie 79190. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (D45 Sauze Vaussais to Lezay road).

Thousands of English and French books, fiction and non-fiction for adults and children, also DVDs and CDs for just 1€.

Many attractions and stands including the Hope cafe with refreshments and delicious home-baked cakes and Hope’s very own Hot Baps, including bacon, spicy or Lincolnshire sausage, plain, cheese, bacon and veggie burgers, we’ve also got gluten free baps.

Fish and chips from Mr T, Pois Chic, exciting bric-a-brac, Eddie’s hand crafted greetings cards and loads and loads more.

Please bring along a tin of dog or cat food to drop off at our collection point at the door. This will be delivered to local SPAs and animal refuges. Or if you have unwanted bedding or towels we would be delighted to accept them on behalf of the dogs and cats in the refuge and for Twilight Retirement Home – please note we cannot accept any bedding containing feathers.

Hope Association would like your old greetings cards, DVDs, CDs, good quality bric-a-brac, and, of course, books – which you can also bring along with you. We can arrange pick-ups in certain cases. Please email givebooks4hope@gmail.com.

We have a special open viewing for disabled book lovers and parents with small children unable to cope with the crush over the weekend  – Thursday 12th May, 3 p.m.-5 p.m. The Hope cafe will NOT be open on this date.

We are offering a personal book shopping service for those hard to find books. You email us your book list with titles and authors and the Hope Book Elves try to find as many as we are able. Your books can be picked up during the book sale. Cost per book found from your list will be 1,50€. It starts next Tuesday, 26th July and Saturday 30th July – fabulous bargains for everyone and every corner of the house, plus delicious cakes and refreshments and all the usual Hope books and bargains, all monies raised go to associations that help neglected and abandoned animals
